The Jharokha collection by Vijayshree Sovani Designs derives inspiration from the architectural beauty of Rajasthan, where the balconies of the magnificent havelis consisted of a type of an overhanging called the Jharokha. These Jharokha were closed by a jali framework so as to allow the royal women to see outside without being seen themselves. The intricate jali work in the Jharokha creation has been crafted on similar lines.
